These two were all about having a relaxed, joy-filled day, rain or shine.
The morning kicked off at a nearby Airbnb, where Georgia and Chris were getting ready with their close family & friends. The vibe? Totally chilled. Laughs and that kind of light-hearted energy that tells you it’s going to be a good one. Once Georgia slipped into her stunning dress, the couple shared a quiet first look — one of those slow, beautiful moments where the world fades out for a second. Then a few portraits and off to the ceremony we went.
Their ceremony, undercover at Farm & Co, was sweet, personal (Chris’ auntie was their celebrant!), and full of laughter. You could feel the love from their friends and family — just the right mix of emotional and easy-going. After saying “I do,” they strolled back down the aisle to big cheers, straight into a round of hugs & high fives. A few family photos followed by a big group shot before guests headed to cocktail hour — complete with a champagne tower that kicked things off in style.
Georgia & Chris joined the fun and mingled with everyone, soaking it all in before we snuck away for a little wander through the sunflowers. The rain held off just long enough for some golden moments and quiet time between the two of them — those photos are magic.
The reception space had a relaxed, timeless feel — simple, elegant and so them. Speeches rolled out with just the perfect blend of heartfelt and hilarious, followed by a delicious long lunch and the cake cutting. After a bit more mingling and soaking in the vibe, we headed back out for one last photo walk around the property…
…and that’s when the skies really opened up. Proper rain. We found shelter under some trees, laughing and dripping wet — one of those wild little wedding stories they’ll be telling forever. And just when we thought we might be stranded, Aimee — the absolute legend of a coordinator at Farm & Co — swooped in with her car and saved the day.
It might not have been the clear-skied wedding everyone hoped for, but it was full of warmth, love and unforgettable moments. Georgia & Chris embraced it all — and the result? Pure magic. 🌻☔🍾
ps. because the weather didn’t quite play nice, we caught up at the beach again a few days later when the sun finally made an appearance — for a bonus free family shoot with golden light. It was the perfect way to round out their wedding story.
