Lynda & Tyler | Delaneys Creek Wedding at Delaneys Estate
Some weddings just hit that perfect balance between heartfelt moments and a proper good time — and Lynda & Tyler’s day at Delaneys Estate was exactly that. They wanted the day to feel relaxed and real — more of a celebration than a formal affair. Safe to say, they nailed it.
The day kicked off with the girls getting ready, spirits high as hair and makeup were in full swing. I grabbed a few candid shots — laughter, music, that pre-wedding buzz — before it was time for Lynda to step into her dress. Always one of my favourite parts of the day. When she was ready, she did a reveal for her dad — and yep, there were tears all round. Then a few photos with her bridal party, some portraits on her own, and it was time for me to head over to find the boys.
They were getting ready not far away, right off a quiet country road, with their Harleys lined up and even a mini one for their son Mason — who was clearly loving every second. I got a few shots of the boys together (I never push too much at this stage — most guys don’t love the camera, and I want them to still be smiling later for the good stuff!).
When it was time for the ceremony, the guys rolled down to join the guests — big cheers, especially for Mason, who had the biggest grin on his face. Lynda arrived in style with her bridesmaids, cruising in a classic Holden. She walked down the aisle on her dad’s arm and all eyes were on her — especially Tyler. The ceremony itself was beautiful, full of warmth and the perfect amount of laughter.
After the “I do’s,” they sealed it with a kiss and walked back down the aisle through showers of confetti. Hugs everywhere, a big group shot for memories’ sake, and then family photos before guests made their way up to the barn for cocktail hour, while we stayed back with the bridal party to get some relaxed portraits. Once those were wrapped we joined everyone at cocktail hour for some drinks & grazing platter. As the sun was setting it was time for a quiet wander with Lynda & Tyler — just the two of them. We stole a little time in a nearby paddock for soft sunset light, then took a short drive up to the ridge for sweeping views over the Glasshouse Mountains. It was one of those small, perfect moments that felt entirely theirs.
Back at the barn, the couple made their entrance to huge cheers. The night rolled into heartfelt (and hilarious) speeches, dinner, cake cutting, and a few beautiful dances — first Lynda with her dad, then the newlyweds taking the floor for their first dance together. Halfway through, everyone jumped in, and from there, the night turned into a proper party. The music pumped, the drinks flowed, and everyone hit the dancefloor — exactly the kind of energy that makes a wedding unforgettable.
A day full of love, laughter, and that easy, laid-back joy that sums up these two perfectly.
