After what felt like weeks of rain, Chantel & Nathan woke to an absolutely spectacular autumn day for their fairy tale wedding at Shambala Estate.
The weather gods were definitely smiling on these two — blue skies, sunshine, and the dreamiest golden light later in the day.
The morning kicked off with both of them getting ready in their respective cabins. We started with Chantel and her girls — spirits were high, tunes were playing, and there was a real sense of excitement in the air as the finishing touches of hair and makeup came together. Then we popped over to the boys’ cabin where there was plenty of banter, laughs, and some last-minute tie-wrangling.
Back to the girls just in time for Chantel to step into her beautiful gown — one of those wow-moments. We took a few portraits, and then it was time to head to the chapel. The ceremony itself was heartfelt, full of sweet moments and a few laughs. These two clearly adore each other, and so did everyone watching on.
After walking back down the aisle through a flurry of confetti, it was hugs all round before we jumped into a big group shot and some family photos. While guests made their way to cocktail hour, the bridal party stayed back for some fun, relaxed photos on the grounds. Soon after, Chantel & Nathan re-joined the party, enjoying some time to mingle with their guests — no rush, just soaking it all in.
As the sun began to dip behind the hills, we snuck the couple away for some dreamy golden-hour portraits. It was a quiet moment for just the two of them – I love it when our couples have this time to themselves, it translates to amazing images without too much posing.
The reception room had a timeless, classic vibe — think elegant florals, warm lighting, and just the right amount of sparkle. Chantel & Nathan made their entrance to huge cheers and danced their way to the table, setting the tone for the night ahead. After some heartfelt (and hilarious) speeches, dinner was served, followed by a fun photo dash where the couple made their way to each table to grab a quick snap with their guests — such a fun way to include everyone.
Then came the cake cut and a beautiful first dance, with the whole room watching on. Halfway through the song the guests piled onto the dance floor and kept it going all night long — no holding back, just pure celebration.
It was one of those days where everything just came together perfectly — a beautiful setting, a loved-up couple, and a whole lot of good energy. Chantel & Nathan, what a day. What a party. 💫💍🍾
