If you’re dreaming of a simple and meaningful Tweed Coast elopement surrounded by nature, this one is a perfect example of how beautiful a laid-back celebration can be. I photograph a lot of weddings and sessions around this coastline, so when David reached out about having their elopement at one of my favourite hidden dune locations, I knew it was going to be something special. This quiet stretch of beach is lined with native bush, soft sand dunes, and some of the best sunsets in Northern NSW — the ideal spot for a relaxed, intimate ceremony.

David and George kept things intentionally small, with just a handful of family and friends gathered on the sand as they exchanged vows. The timing couldn’t have been better — we planned the ceremony around sunset, which meant we slipped straight into golden hour portraits by the water. No timelines, no pressure, just a calm and genuine moment between two people who were totally present with each other.

After photos, everyone headed back to a private villa for a catered dinner and drinks — the perfect way to end the day. A stress-free celebration, a stunning location, and a focus on what really mattered: the two of them.
