About Us

Short Bio

Hi, I'm Kevin

I’ve had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. I started out as a kid with a beat up old film camera, the kind that gave you 24 shots and made you really think before you pressed the shutter. That early habit of slowing down and actually noticing things has never left me.

I grew up in Tweed Heads but I was itching to see more of the world, so I packed a bag and spent years working and backpacking overseas. I was actually a chef before photography took over, which feels like a lifetime ago now. I wanted to capture everything I saw out there, the people, the stories, the wild places off the beaten track. When my photos didn’t quite match how those moments felt, I bought better gear and got obsessed with learning how to use it properly.

Then I became a dad to two boys and of course, the camera turned to them. Friends saw my shots on social media and started asking for family photos, then someone trusted me with a wedding and before I knew it, the thing I picked up for fun became the path I never saw coming.

Wedding photography wasn’t something I aggressively chased. It grew naturally, and along the way I figured out that telling honest, real life stories is very much my thing.

These days I am based in Northern NSW, shooting weddings from Byron to Brisbane and wherever you want me to be, passports ready!! I still love to travel and I take on a handful of destination weddings each year, especially if the party is by the ocean (Fiji) or somewhere snowy in Japan.

My style combines classic portrait photography and candid documentary style with a relaxed feel. I want the moments captured from a wedding day to stay timeless for the years to come and be vibrant with real life colour. In my approach to the day, I love being both in the action and hiding in the sidelines. It’s a balance between observing, and capturing the little moments, stepping in to give gentle guidance where needed. I’m also so much more than someone who just takes your photos. I’m there for you throughout this whole experience – from the very beginning, to the very end.

Some of my personal work

Hi, I'm Teko

I’m a passionate videographer with a Diploma in Film and Media and over seven years working in the film industry. For the past five years I’ve been lucky enough to be a member of Wattleseed Collective and focus on wedding videography, telling love stories in a way that feels relaxed, cinematic and genuinely heartfelt.

No two couples are the same, and that’s the part I love most. I’m all about creating wedding films that reflect your energy, your connection and the way your day actually felt. Nothing stiff or overly staged. Just real moments, good vibes and all the little in between bits that make your story yours. Whether it’s a sun soaked beach ceremony, a backyard party or a moody mountain elopement, I shape each film to feel true to you.

When I’m not filming weddings, I’m usually travelling or working on feature films, which keeps my storytelling sharp and my creativity flowing. That mix of wedding days and film sets means I bring a calm presence, a strong eye for detail and a love for storytelling into every wedding I capture.

If you’re after a wedding film that feels natural, fun and full of emotion, you’re in the right place.
