Michaela & Jesse's wedding at Pioneer Country in Tweed Heads was absolutely beautiful.

But talk about a weather rollercoaster! All week the forecast was predicting major rain, and I couldn’t help but feel a bit anxious for them. But let’s start from the top –

The day kicked off with Michaela getting ready in a stunning Airbnb, surrounded by her sisters and parents, which was just filled with laughter and so many touching moments. The ceremony in the chapel? Absolutely magical, with heartfelt readings that left hardly a dry eye in the room, and the confetti walk afterwards was seriously one of the most spectacular I’ve ever seen—talk about a perfect moment for beautiful photos! Then after a big group shot and snapping some family photos it was time to move the celebration to the verandah while we snagged some classic bridal party shots on the lawn. With everyone chilling and mingling, the vibe on the verandah during cocktail hour was just perfect.

Then, as the sun began to set, we all held our breath, hoping the weather would hold just a bit longer. And would you believe it? Despite the ominous clouds, the sun peeked out right on cue as we took the bridal party up the hill, giving us an incredible sunset that just lit up everyone’s faces perfectly and let us capture some genuinely magical moments.

Making our way back down to the barn for their grand entrance the energy was just buzzing, setting the stage for a delicious dinner followed by a night filled with speeches, the cake cutting, and a really special first dance + father daughter dance. Then, it was all about cranking up the party, with everyone hitting the dance floor. Capping off the night with a fun bouquet toss and a sparkler exit for the newlyweds was the cherry on top. Despite all the weather worries, it turned out to be an unforgettable day. 🌤️💒🎉💖
